Great visuals on continuous delivery

Great visuals on continuous delivery

I am part of a crew at Dell that is trying to move our organization towards true continuous delivery.  I find that this concept is frequently totally mis-understood.  Just because you are doing deployments with some frequency does not mean that you are doing continuous delivery.  Think in terms of being “friction-less” with “frequency” in a “repeatable” manner.

I found the following slides here and wanted to save them so that I can refer back to them often.  These should be printed and hung on the wall of every organization that is trying to work towards continuously delivery.  The complexity of each of these graphics paints the picture that true CD is not easy.  But implemented correctly, CD can make the agile teams life much easier.
